The Brecon Beacons National Park is particularly stunning in winter, when the mountain peaks sparkle with snow, and the canal turns frosty. The views from the tree-lined canal towpath are amazing at this time of year, once the leaves have fallen. You don’t need to drive to find a good walk – you can set out from your doorstep.
In your cottage you’ll find Ordnance Survey maps of the area and walking guide books which you’re welcome to use during your stay. And, once you’re back from your day out in the crisp countryside, light the cosy log fire and relax.
Request our Winter Walking routes when you book, and we’ll email you some of our favourite walks and share with you some of the great places to stop for refreshments while you’re out and about.
